Things We Lost

About the Author: Caspian Samuel

I am a visual and poetic artist whose work spans across many mediums. Through each medium, I find a different way to express myself. Sometimes images come to me through dreams, other times I see visions overlaid in the natural world. My subject matter is based on my personal-emotional processing and multifaceted perspective on the world. I grew up in the deep south and have always gravitated toward nature. As someone who is gender-fluid, I feel my experiences bridge the gender gap, leaving me with a deeper understanding of humanity as a whole. I hope to continue exploring the balance of masculine and feminine energy through my work. In this exploration, I wish to convey how we as humans are adaptable and can be a simple vessel for a wide range of experiences.
