con•flu•ence
(ˈkɒn flu əns)
n.
Confluence is a journal growing out of the roots of the Youth Passageways network. It seeks to provide a context for the experiences, dialog, and open exchange of the many youth, families, and practitioners therein, or really anyone, anywhere who feels called to offer their voice to the conversation.
The journal seeks to be a confluence between the ancient and modern, to reconnect our lives with the often forgotten rites, mysteries, and ancestors moving through them. Just as many rivers come together, Confluence will establish a meeting place in which the many worldviews, personalities, dreams, sparks, and ideas converge, becoming a source of nourishment and inspiration around which we gather and to which in service, we mindfully tend.
Confluence is dedicated equally to publishing academic content as well as allowing for pure creative expression the chance to be SEEN, HEARD, and FELT, an opportunity to weave cultural, generational, and experiential divides into a common narrative, through a common language.
We plan to publish twice annually in the Spring and Fall, for details on how to submit or what we publish click on the link below.
